ETS Provides Support with FAFSA
ETS provides assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for all participants. The FAFSA enables applicants to
apply for the vast array of federal student financial aid programs, including Pell Grant, Supplemental Educational Opportunity (SEOG) Grant, Work-Study, Stafford, & PLUS Loans.
Students applying for these grants may also be eligible to receive an Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG). This grant may be awarded to FAFSA-eligible students who have taken higher level mathematics and science courses in high school and are interested in pursuing careers in these and related fields. Also, students interested in a teaching career could be eligible for a TEACH (Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education) grant which provides up to $4000 annually in exchange for a minimal commitment to teach in a district with high incidence of low income residents.
Contact your ETS counselor at 989-2460 for information on the best approach for completing the FAFSA.
