ETS, in conjunction with the PUC Upward Bound program offers FREE one to one and group tutoring sessions for program participants. Generally speaking, tutoring is available in a wide array of subjects within the Mathematics, English/Language Arts, Physical Science, and Social Studies curriculum areas. Each tutorial participant must adhere to strict guidelines when visiting the Purdue University Calumet campus.

Tutoring Alternatives
Can’t make it to campus for a tutoring session? No problem! ETS offers participants access to the Skillstutor online academic skills enhancement
program. Skillstutor is a fun, interactive program that promotes mastery academic skill-building. The curricula is formatted to be in sync with the Indiana Academic Standards and can help you in preparation for standardized tests such as the ISTEP/GQE, SAT, and ACT.
ETS also promotes use of the Homework Hotline as an alternate source of tutoring assistance. Housed at the highly esteemed Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, the hotline is available at no charge to ETS participants.
ETS maintains that each and every participant should have an opportunity to develop innate potential. Whichever tutorial option best suits the participant is satisfactory for program participation.
