September is National Preparedness Month

The goal of PUC in recognizing National Preparedness Month is to raise the campus community’s awareness of the efforts PUC undertakes to communicate critical information that can interrupt campus operations, what those communications are, familiarize you with those communications, and what steps to take to stay safe. Using a year-around approach rather than just a single month campaign, PUC promotes and assesses the readiness of the campus community every semester – Fall, Spring, Summer. Being Ready includes being prepared, planning, and staying informed. PUC will provide information, host events, and/or sponsor activities the week of September 14 (information to follow) to increase the level of preparedness, plan for, and keep you informed about the various types of emergencies that could occur and the appropriate response to an emergency.
