African Student Association

  • Our purpose is to raise awareness about meat production, namely animal maltreatment. More precisely we, as a group, oppose factory farming, along with all other forms of animal abuse. This is why we promote a vegan diet, as a way to reduce animal suffering. We have a website to be used as a resource for those looking to go vegetarian/vegan, as well as to let students at Purdue Cal and in the community know about events our organization has coming up.

  • This organization welcomes all students to participate in a culturally diversified team and broaden their own understanding of different cultures. ISO seeks to establish a constructive cultural community by creating a platform for sharing of cultural experiences. By providing students from different countries with opportunities to interact, ISO helps them develop lasting friendships and socialize with cultures around the world.

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF)

  • The purpose of INTERVARSITY is to build a collegiate fellowship that engages the Purdue Calumet campus with the gospel of Jesus Christ and makes disciples who live out biblical values. INTERVARSITY chapters are on over 800 campuses across the United and on some 20 campuses in Indiana. If you’re a Christian and would be interested in meeting with other Christians through bible study, prayer and various camps and conferences throughout the year… then INTERVARSITY IS FOR YOU! If you’re interested in knowing more about the person of Jesus Christ and what it means to follow him, then we extend to you an invitation to come and discover this person who over 2,000 years ago revolutionized the world through his radical teachings. Psi Chi (PC)

  • This organization is open to Psychology majors in the upper 35% of their class, with at least a “B” grade point average, who have completed 8 semester hours of Psychology courses. Membership in the group provides academic recognition for scholastic achievement and stimulates professional growth. Activities will include national and regional conventions, research award competitions and certificate recognition programs.
