“I love Purdue Univeristy Calumet. It’s close to my home. The class sizes are small. Plus, I like that its small enough to see the same people in the hallways every once and a while but big enough not to see the same people every day.” Raquel is a Junior majoring in Organizational Communications and also works with New Student Orientations. She suggests a person is “never to busy to make a few new friends,” and you can do this by “joining an organization“. Disney movies such as, Cars, Happy Feet, and The Incredibles engage this 22 year old. “I like these movies because they are fun and not so serious. They make me laugh and feel like I don’t have a care in the world.” Watching movies and taking time to “just do what I want” helps Raquel relieve stress. |

He likes the class sizes at Purdue and also is a Student Leader during New Student Orientations. “Don’t look at school as a means to a degree.
