Lunchtime Music with Valerie Custer

Valerie Custer has a smile that melts hearts and a voice that captures the soul. Soon after this 21-year old, Ohio native, picks up her guitar, audience members find themselves smiling and moving closer to the amazing combination of captivating melodies and intricate charm Valerie brings to every performance. From original songs to favorites dating as far back as the 60’s, Valerie’s eclectic acoustic style gives something for everyone to enjoy. Her contagiously enchanting sounds quickly took Ohio by storm and now spread throughout the country as audiences can’t get enough of this hometown girl.
Among other testimonials to her talent, Valerie was chosen to be featured as the cover model for the 2005, 2006, and 2007 Washburn Oscar Schmidt International Dealer Catalog, selected to participate in the New Year’s celebration, First Night Akron 2004 and 2006 and the 2004 Millennium Music Conference in Pennsylvania.

Congratulations to the Purdue University Calumet Gamers Guild for winning the 2009 Student Organization Penny War. Other participating student organizations included: Los Latinos, Student Employee Organization, Alpha Psi Lambda, Finance & Accounting Club, Criminal Justice Club, and the Vanity Modeling Troupe. A total of $582.32 was raised for United Way. Great Job!
