Welcome to the PUC Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships

What is a PUC Concurrent Enrollment Partnership?

Purdue University Calumet’s Concurrent Enrollment partnerships are programs that provide high school juniors and seniors from partner high schools in northwest Indiana with the opportunity to begin college work at PUC while in high school.  The programs are school-based, that is, the concurrent enrollment courses are offered at the partner local high school during the regular school day and taught by approved high school teachers who hold adjunct lecturer status with PUC.  The concurrent courses are Purdue University Calumet courses and are administered by Purdue University Calumet.

A student from a partner high school who is admitted to a PUC Concurrent Enrollment program will:

  • Receive both high school and college credit for the successfully completed concurrent enrollment course.
  • Get an early start on his/her college degree.
  • Begin building a college transcript. Most courses are transferable to Indiana public colleges and universities, and, may be transferable to other colleges and universities.
  • Receive a substantial tuition remission.
  • Complete an Indiana high school honors diploma requirement.
