Purdue University Calumet Breaks Ground on Phase II
In response to high demand for on-campus housing, Purdue University Calumet broke ground on Phase II of The University Village on Tuesday, April 22, 2008.
As stated on the News Release website of Purdue University Calumet, “Construction of The University Village II, a $21.1 million, L-shaped structure with accommodations for 369 students in 99 furnished apartment units is taking place at the south end of campus. It will be erected directly east of the original University Village, which also offers fully furnished apartment living and has been filled to capacity with a waiting list the past two years.”
We, in the Department of Housing and Residential Education, are truly excited about this new opportunity for on-campus housing. Our past and current residents have enjoyed the benefits of living on campus and also the amenities available in The University Village. We look forward to providing additional housing opportunities to domestic and international students!
