Bachelor of Science, Nursing

Bachelor of Science Option
Accelerated BS Option for Second Degree Students

The undergraduate program in nursing offers the following, National League for Nursing (NLN) accredited programs:  Bachelor of Science Option, Accelerated BS Option for Second Degree Students, BS-RN Completion Option and Accelerated BS to MS Option.  Beginning Baccalaureate Degree students in nursing are prepared to begin their careers as entry-level registered nurses.  The degree leads to eligibility for State Board examination for licensure as a registered nurse.  The Baccalaureate option is designed to:

  1. prepare a nurse generalist with baccalaureate level nursing competencies who will be able to provide comprehensive nursing care for people of all ages within a variety of health care settings
  2. provide academic preparation for advanced degrees in Nursing.
