Admission Requirements

Candidate Selection

The accelerated MBAE program is for managers and others with significant business and/or professional experience that have the potential for continued career growth. Engineers, bankers, attorneys, physicians, scientists, and executives in various other professions are among those who might participate.

In the fall semester of each year, one group of students is admitted into the program. An MBAE application packet must be received for processing well before the beginning of the semester. Students may not be admitted to the program at any other time.

Each completed application will be reviewed by the program director and by the MBAE Admissions Committee. The Committee takes into account a candidate’s overall potential, field of specialization, work experience, and ability to contribute to the group learning experience.

Candidates will be notified their admission status by the MBAE office within six weeks of evaluation.

Interviews

Interviews are required for applicants to the MBAE program. Interviews are arranged at such time when the principal parts of the application are complete and on file with the MBAE office. Interviews are typically conducted during the spring.
