May 14th: MBAE Alumni Professional Development Event

It is official! Join us at our second MBAE Alumni Professional Development Event:

Why entrepreneurship, and not bailouts, will get the economy moving again”

By Dr. Derek Ruth, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, PUC School of Management

Small companies are fundamentally different from large companies. Research tells us that small businesses are more nimble and innovative than their Fortune 500 counterparts. They are responsible for a sizable majority of new jobs and the vast majority of game-changing new products. Entrepreneurship is important to individuals because it is a primary driver of wealth creation. On a national and global level, entrepreneurship-and not bailouts of tired, old, non-productive companies-is what will help get this economy back on track.
