Catherine Gillotti Ph.D. is an associate professor of communication in the Department of Communication and Creative Arts at Purdue University Calumet. Her primary research focuses on interpersonal, small group and organizational communication. Dr. Gillotti brings to the Campus Climate Assessment extensive knowledge related to how individuals interact both with other individuals and in the context of larger communities. As an expert in organizational communication, Dr. Gillotti has presented conference papers at both the national and international level and published several journal and book chapters on interpersonal communication, organizational communication, and health communication topics. While most of her publications focus on communication and its impact on health outcomes, her training is broadly based in the field of interpersonal and small group communication. Dr. Gillotti is deeply involved in PUC campus life through participation on faculty and student committees and through participation in extra-curricular events both on campus and in the community.
