Researchers Begin Task of Evaluation

With the completion of the final focus group last Thursday, the members of the Campus Climate Assessment project team hunkered down to the task of sifting through hours of taped conversations and reams of handwritten notes. Fifty-odd PUC staff and faculty members from various areas of the university community offered their views during a four-week stint of focus groups which represented the major activity of the first phase of the campus climate study. PUC Administrators To Voice Their Views

Additional Faculty/Staff Groups Scheduled

To accommodate the overflow numbers of faculty and staff members requesting to be included in the Campus Climate Assessment focus groups, additional gatherings for them have been scheduled. Female staff members are invited to a Monday, October 22nd, focus group.  A second male faculty group has also been schedule for that evening, Monday, October 22nd. (more…)

Female Staff Members Want Their Say

Due to the large number of female staff members who wished to participate in the focus group activity of the Campus Climate Assessment project, an additional session for them has been scheduled on Monday, October 22nd.

Overflow respondents for this group had been placed on a waiting list and will now be contacted about the new date. All female staff members  of the PUC community are invited to sign up for this added focus group session. (more…)

Faculty and Staff Air Views in First Focus Groups

Male faculty and female staff members  gathered yesterday evening at the Entrepreneurial Center (E-Center) as the first set of 14 scheduled focus groups got underway. The first phase of a climate assessment study conducted by PUC’s Institute for Social and Policy Research (ISPR), investigators heard firsthand how these members of the PUC community perceive the campus academic and work environment.
