Members of the Purdue University Calumet community — administrators, faculty, and staff — are invited to participate in focus groups beginning in October 2007. A listing of focus group dates has been set and is now available online.

The Survey Research Center of the Institute for Social and Policy Research was awarded a contract by the Multicultural Campus Council of Purdue University Calumet to conduct a campus climate assessment of administrators, faculty, and staff members on the PUC campus.
The methodologies employed during this study will be both qualitative and quantitative in nature. The first phase of the research will include the conducting of focus groups during the month of October 2007.

Purdue University Calumet recently approved the charter establishing the Institute for Social and Policy Research. Housed in facilities in Porter Hall and the E-Center building, the Institute unites the latest social science research technologies and methodologies to provide a unique center for social and policy investigation and analysis to Northwest Indiana and northeastern Illinois.
