A Blue Night That Was Anything But Gloomy
Wednesday, December 5th, 2007 - 2:46 pm
On November 29, 2007, the International Programs Office and its mentors took the English Language Program students to Chicago for a strong dose of American culture at a Blue Man Group show at the Briar Street Theater. Students and mentors gathered together on a brisk Thursday evening and had dinner at Sopranos, an Italian restaurant in Chicago. The dining at this beautiful Italian restaurant was exquisite and overshadowed only by the excitement the group felt for the upcoming show. Following dinner, everyone was primed for the performance, and none were disappointed. In fact, the concert was so engaging that a mentor and a student were each able to participate and interact directly with the Blue Man actors. Finally, everyone went home, exhausted from all of the excitement. What a night!
