The International Programs Office is committed to further diversifying the Purdue University Calumet campus and supporting global awareness through the development of international partnerships, study abroad opportunities, increased international student enrollment, and international events programming. International Programs is the campus resource for faculty, staff, and students on all international endeavors.
Services provided to faculty
Study Abroad Program Assistance- This includes working with the academic department and faculty and Business Services office to develop a budget, ensure all university policies are taken into consideration, and marketing the study abroad program to students.
Travel/Professional Development- International Programs often provides support and financial assistance for travel of PUC staff and faculty and invited speakers through small department grants. Funds are generally used toward development of international partnerships with other universities and on-campus presentations and workshops that would support PUC’s strategic mission and global initiatives.
International Partnership Development- International Partnership Development includes meeting with the academic department representatives, Admissions, and Business Services to ensure that any international partnership or academic program being developed meets University Policies and supports PUC’s strategic mission.
