About The International Film Series

The International Film Series presents films made around the world with discussion to follow for free to the campus and the surrounding community on a weekly basis. The goal of the Series is to expose students, faculty and community members to the film cultures of different countries and languages while providing a forum for academic discussion of the films’ themes, ideas, and messages. The Series is directed by Steven Lombardo of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and is coordinated by Joshua Travis.

There are multiple co-sponsors for the Series, including The Departments of Foreign Languages & Literatures, Communication & Creative Arts and English & Philosophy as well as The Inernational Programs Office and The School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.
