Admission to the Honors Program is open to high school graduates and current PUC students and transfer students who have demonstrated high academic achievement. Students must
possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
High School Graduates
To be considered for admission, entering first year students must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.5/4.0 and a minimum SAT (Verbal & Math) score of at least 1100, with a minimum of 450 on verbal and 450 on math.
Current or Transfer Students
Current PUC students or transfer students who have completed at least 30 credit hours of college courses must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 based on those credit hours completed.
Current PUC students or transfer students who have not yet completed at least 30 credit hours of college courses will be assessed on the basis of the standards used for those applying directly from high school.
Fulfillment of these conditions is necessary, but not sufficient, for admission to the Honors Program; applicants who do meet these standards will have their applications reviewed and considered.
