It is my privilege to be Dean of the School of Management at Purdue Calumet at a time when the University is leaping forward and the School of Management is transforming itself into a more vibrant, more challenging and more exciting place to learn.

Our faculty is student-oriented.  Their charge is to be excellent teachers first and foremost.  They share their scholarship with peers in their field through publications.  Their research supports their teaching as it helps keep them current and relevant in their discipline.  They provide services to the university, their profession and the greater NWI community by providing their expertise where needed.

Our graduate programs,  MBA and MAcc, seek to allow our students take many different career paths.  We revise our programs on an ongoing basis to respond to changes in the market.  We are looking forward to introducing more learning opportunities into our curriculum (internships, study abroad, student research, student business consulting, etc.).  We have plans for many new graduate electives, new certificates, and new interdisciplinary degrees.

Welcome to our school!  I trust you will enjoy your time with us and will find out later that, in retrospect, it was time well spent.
