New Novell/E-Mail Accounts

  1. Please print the New Faculty/Staff Account Request Form
  1. Have the requesting supervisor sign the request.
  1. Have the user read the attached Code of Ethics and sign the request.
  1. Either mail or deliver the signed form to CTIS Operations in PWRS 218 on the second floor of the Powers building between 7:30am and 7:30pm Monday through Friday.

Please Note: Internet mail will be automatically forwarded to your Outlook account. Student Employees will be required to obtain a supervisor’s signature prior to submitting their account request form.

Banner Advisor Query Accounts

Please send an e-mail from your department head to Sharon Robey.

Please provide the following in the email request:

  1. Name of the Individual requiring an account
  2. Department Code
  3. What Advisor Query services will be used

Please Note: If you wish to perform the functions of entering grades, registering students, and instructor updates you will need to be approved by the Registrar due to training requirements.

Website Access

Fill out the Web Site Request form.

Submit the form to Electronic Communication and Publishing, Lawshe 242. After submitting the form, existing pages on the site (if any) will be reviewed to determine their status.

CTIS will create your new account.

If your pages are determined to be official University Web pages, your account will be created on stage.calumet.purdue.edu, the Web server for official departmental pages.

If your pages are determined to be non-official, your account on the personal Web server (FP1). This server is reserved for personal (faculty, staff, student), student organization, and academic course pages.

Once your account has been create, you will be contacted via email with your login information and instructions on how to access your account. If you would like assistance, the TEC Center staff in Gyte 135, ext.2873 can assist you with authoring your pages.
