CTIS Faculty and Staff Services

The services CTIS offers vary widely. CTIS is comprised of 11 different units, each of which has specific services they offer to Purdue University Calumet. Please click on a link under “Get to Know CTIS” to the left to find out more about what each unit has to offer.

  1. Scantron Test Scoring – The Scantron is a quick way to automatically grade multiple choice and True/False type tests.
  2. eCourses – The eCourses unit is in charge of anything and everything related to Blackboard Learning Systems Vista on the Purdue University Calumet and ACLT campuses.
  3. Computer and Peripherals Price List – CTIS has partnerships with several vendors to provide top quality computer products, prompt service & repair, and discounted pricing for the best possible value to the Purdue Calumet community.
  4. Network Access Forms & Information – Find the pertinent forms needed to set up a new account, get Banner access, and get other specialized services from CTIS.
  5. Virtual Private Network – A virtual private network (VPN) is a way of being able to access your data files or programs that are on one computer from another one, even from miles away. This would allow you to access, for example, Banner from home or anything on your departments R: drive while at a conference.
  6. Faculty & Staff Telephone Directory – Look up a faculty or staff memebers contact information by last or first name, department, or extension.
  7. Office of Instructional Technology – The Office of Instructional Technology is a dedicated computer lab and resource center available to the faculty and staff of Purdue University Calumet.
  8. Personal Network (H:) Drive – Every Student, Faculty, and Staff member with a Novell (computer) account has space personally allocated to them on the network.
  9. Website Access – Learn how to create a Website through your department, if it is an official University Web page, or through the general Web server here.
  10. Audio Visual – Audio/Visual Services, a division of CTIS, is responsible for the installation and maintenance of classroom and broadcast technology equipment on campus.
