Plan of Study – Finance Major

The baccalaureate degree requires a minimum of 127 credit hours:

Mathematics – 6 cr. hrs.
Statistics – 3 cr. hrs.

Communication Skills
English – 9 cr. hrs.
Speech – 3 cr. hrs.

Behavioral Science – 3 cr. hrs.
Laboratory Science – 3 cr. hrs.
Computer Information Systems – 6 cr. hrs.
Economics – 9 cr. hrs.
Business Core Courses – 27 cr. hrs.
Major Courses – 18 cr. hrs.
Liberal Arts Electives – 21 cr. hrs.
Business Electives – 12 cr. hrs.
Free Electives – 6 cr. hrs.

The six major courses include Intermediate Accounting 1, Fundamentals of Investments, Corporate Financial Problems, Management of Financial Institutions and two additional Finance courses approved by your academic advisor.
