Welcome to the Department of Finance and Economics, home to two undergraduate management majors: (a) Finance and (b) Business Economics. The Department pursues active teaching and research programs, keeping both students and faculty at the cutting edge of modern business education. Our faculty work to develop each student’s analytical skills in the areas of economic theory and business applications. The Finance program prepares students in the areas of corporate finance, investments, financial markets, bank management, risk management, and global financial markets. The business economics program exposes students to valuable analytical skills and problem-solving techniques designed to help students understand the impact of economic changes in business and industry. We prepare our graduates to compete successfully in the workplace and ultimately, to assume positions of high responsibility in business decision making.
