Omer Farook, Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology, was elected for the post of Assistant Vice-Chair for Programs in the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) – Engineering Technology Division (ETD). Prof. Farook begins the one-year appointment at the 2009 ASEE Annual Conference and Exposition in June 2009 in Austin, TX.  In this position he will be responsible for the peer review process of papers submitted for the ETD program at the same ASEE Conference.
