Professor Conners’ mare Mona was a big hit at the University’s 2nd Annual Student Convocation on Thursday, August 28th.  Mona came to campus to promote the new equine offerings and drew a lot of attention.  Some came to pet a horse for the first time, some came because of their love of horse, and some came just to see what it was all about.  Although no one was allowed to ride her, she impressed everyone with her calm and friendly personality.  She is a wonderful ambassador for the Equine Management Program!
