For most small businesses, marketing falls short of the attention it requires,
but good marketing is a make-or-break scenario. It is really impossible for a
business to be successful without good marketing because people need to
know why they should buy your product among the many other brands
available to them. This requires an understanding of the marketing process
and how to utilize it to effectively market your business.

This course will identify the marketing process, marketing mix (product,
price, promotion and place), and introduce you to some of the concepts and
strategies that professional marketing experts in large companies use. This
will enable you to develop a marketing strategy for your company to follow
so that your small business can thrive. Our discussions will also address:

  • The process to create a successful marketing message
  • Market segmentation and who to target within that segment
  • Market demands and the role price plays upon demands
  • How to take a product to market
  • How to communicate with the final consumer
  • How the final consumer is the key stakeholder in the marketing
    process
