This free seminar held on August 26, 2008 acquainted those wishing to start a business with some of the basics to consider when launching a new venture. Presentations were given by entrepreneurial experts on various topics, such as Vision, Business Plan Writing, Financial and Legal Planning, and Business Feasibility. Attendees had the opportunity to direct questions to the presenters at the end of the seminar and win scholarships to future course offerings.

This event was hosted at the Avalon Manor by the Center for Entrepreneurship Success in partnership with the Indiana Small Business Development Center on July 31, 2008. It highlighted the initiatives and programs being launched by the organizations and the new goals and objectives for the upcoming year.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) and TechPoint hosted the annual Indiana Collegiate Entrepreneur Bootcamp in Indianapolis on March 20, 2008. Attendees learned how to transform business startups into profitable companies from the best business drill sergeants in Indiana, as well as renowned business coach Bill Joos. Participants also had the opportunity to network with experts, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists.
