Who We Are

Information Systems and Services, the area within CTIS responsible for managing the Banner Student Information System, associated software and applications, is to provide students, faculty and staff with support services that permit easy and secure access to student information.

Services Available

The services Student Information Services offers include the following:

• Install, maintain and monitor the Banner Student Information System: Banner and Banner Web.
• Maintain the Oracle DBMS – SIS maintains the Oracle DBMS including creation, maintenance and backup.
• Maintain Banner Security – SIS maintains Banner security including Oracle form and Oracle table access.
• Maintain and Evolve Banner Web – SIS installs and maintains SCT’s Student Web module of Banner including installation and maintenance.
• Design and implement enhancements and modifications to Banner and Banner Web.
• SIS is responsible for maintaining the new Budget Analysis system including the review of proposed changes and implementation of requested enhancements.
• End User Reporting – SIS assists Banner customers in creating reports using Webfocus. This includes assistance in identifying the needed data in Banner tables and creating the appropriate Oracle views.
• Provide consulting and web services to Purdue University Calumet faculty, staff and students.
• Provide HP-UX Operating System Support for the University’s Banner System.
