The mission of the Center for Instructional Excellence (CIE) at Purdue University Calumet is to provide opportunities and activities to continually improve the quality of teaching and learning.

The CIE coordinates events and activities for the development of faculty and teaching staff through Faculty Club luncheons, micro-teaching workshops, summer retreats, occasional faculty roundtables, collaboration with departments, and other venues.  

Through its activities, newsletters, announcements, and this website, the CIE is a primary source for information about teaching and learning at Purdue University Calumet.
