The Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) is located at Purdue University’s main campus in West Lafayette, IN. Much like our own Career Services office here at Purdue Calumet, CCO “engages Purdue University students and alumni in exploring career options and developing effective job search skills. The CCO facilitates activities that connect students and alumni with employers and develops partnerships with Purdue colleges, schools and other stakeholders to deliver career services” (CCO Website).

CCO has partnered with Purdue Calumet’s Office of Career Services to provide access to their online job database, CCO Express. CCO Express is similar to CareerTrax in that it offers many of the same features, including creating a profile, posting your resume, searching for jobs, and viewing information about upcoming workshops and interview sessions; however, CCO Express lists many more upper-level employment opportunities, such as positions within Fortune 500 companies.

CCO Express is available only to current Purdue students and alumni (all campuses). In order to register for CCO Express, you must submit a registration form to the Office of Career Services (you cannot register yourself at CCO’s website). Forms can be either filled out online by following the link below or completed in our office (SUL 349) and submitted to Donna Weidenfeller. The form is brief and can be filled out in a matter of minutes.

• Instructions: After you have submitted your form, please read our CCO Express instructions to view information about your registration, such as when you can expect to receive your log-in username and password and how you should proceed after logging in.

• Screen Shots: View a series of screen shots that will be helpful to you during your initial set-up of CCO Express.
• Missed Interview Policy: CCO has a specific policy for missed and cancelled interviews. Please review this policy before scheduling any interviews through CCO Express.
