WHICH CAREER FAIR SHOULD I ATTEND?
Career Services sponsors and co-sponsors events throughout the year. A variety of career fairs are offered to enable students and faculty the opportunity to connect with employers.
Purdue University Calumet’s Office of Career Services offers several outstanding career fairs every year. To determine which event(s) best meet your organization’s needs, below are brief descriptions to help you select the career fair(s) that would be most productive.
Student Employment Job Fair-Students who would like the opportunity to work on-campus are encouraged to bring their resume and meet with on-campus departments during the Student Employment Job Fair. Departments who would like the opportunity to interview/hire student workers, graduate aides, research assistants, etc., should contact Student Employment at (219) 989-2600.

Part-Time Job Fair – This specialty event, held during the Fall Semester, is perfect for employers seeking students for part-time job opportunities. This is a community and student event, held at the Academic Learning Center in Crown Point.

Career and Internship Fair - The Career and Internship Fair, our LARGEST event, is a great way to kick off your spring recruiting season. This event is ideal for employers, government agencies, and non-profit organizations seeking to recruit recent & upcoming graduates for full-time and/or internship opportunities. The Career and Internship Fair is typically held in February.

Manufacturing Industry Job Fair – This event targets employers looking to hire within the manufacturing industry. The job fair Is a non-profit event co-sponsored by the Office of Career Services and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Proceeds from this event are distributed annually in the form of scholarships, to student in Indiana and Illinois.
