Recruiting Seasons
Scheduling on-campus recruiting dates in advance allows students adequate time to sign up on your interview schedule and for us to reserve an interviewing room at our Hammond campus. Daily interview schedules are open from September through December for the fall term and February through May for the spring.
Informal On-Campus Recruiting Program
Scheduling informal on-campus recruiting dates allows employers the opportunity to set up tables in the concourse and casually interact with students. This type of event allows employers to market their opportunities without the stress of a formal job fair or interview situation. This allows organizations a chance to potentially reach a different student base to fill their part- time, full- time, or even seasonal positions.
There is no charge to set up this type of recruiting event. Informal recruiting dates can be scheduled all year long as well as multiple times throughout the year. To schedule your informal recruiting visits, please contact our Recruiting Coordinator at (219) 989-2529.
Reporting Job Offers/Acceptances
The Career Center requests that all employers participating in the On-Campus Recruiting Program report salary data and job offers extended to PUC students. This data is compiled and can be used to help you price your salary offers in the future. It is also reported to NACE at the end of each academic quarter to help employers monitor salary levels for recent graduates.
