With their fourth consecutive win and sixth of the season, the Peregrines (6-8) are within one win of matching their total of the 2007-08 campaign. Head coach Tom Megyesi attributes his squad’s recent success to team maturity.

“They’ve matured from last season, and players are understanding their roles and responsibilities,” Megyesi said. “We’re getting more baskets on the inside and we’re reducing our turnovers.

“And Meme is handling the offense better. She’s running the show.”
