HAMMOND, Ind. (February, 25, 2007) – Purdue University Calumet’s women’s basketball team will travel to Joliet, Ill., on Tuesday to face the University of St. Francis Lady Saints in the opening round of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference tourney.

Tip-off is 5:30 p.m.The Lady Peregrines (6-23 overall, 1-11 CCAC) lost twice this season to the Lady Saints (17-13, 8-4). Last Saturday, the Lady Peregrines were down 10 points at the half against the Lady Saints, but PUC fell behind during a 19-9 run and never recovered losing 69-47. In January, the University of St. Francis won on its home court, 82-57.
