JOLIET, Ill. - The local outside temperatures dipped to their lowest of the season Tuesday night, and the Lady Peregrines were plagued with one of their lowest shooting performances of the season in the first half against the University of St. Francis. The team hit only 25 percent of its shots from the field, none from beyond the 3-point arc, to finish with 21 points at the half and trailed 46-21 in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Contest. REC CENTER (Jan. 27, 2007) - It was a day full of first time events at Purdue University Calumet this season and in the history of the 60-year-old institution. Four Lady Peregrines scored double digits en route to a 68-53 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference win against Illinois Institute of Technology sending the homecoming crowd home happy. (more…)

REC CENTER. - Sophomore forward LaKeisha Hurst (Dover, Del.) scored a career high 16 points, including 10 in the second half, but it wasn’t enough for a Lady Peregrine victory. Hurst hit one of two free throws with 1:38 to play and pulled her squad to 46-44, which turned out to be the final points of the night for the Lady Peregrines (4-14) who dropped the nonconference game to the Lady Trojans (9-13). BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - It was the most points the Lady Peregrines had scored in a half all season, one more than their best offensive output against Bethel College two games into the 2006-07 season. Yet the 42-second half points were not enough to overcome a 45-21 halftime deficit in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference road game for Purdue University Calumet. (more…)

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The offense came in spurts in the opening 12 minutes of the second half as the Lady Peregrines drew to within eight points of Indiana University South Bend. But the Lady Titans withstood the 10-minute surge and then put their own offense on display leading to a 63-34 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference win at the hands of the Lady Peregrines (4-13 overall, 0-3 CCAC).
