Peregrines forfeit two wins due to player ineligibility

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009 - 4:35 pm

HAMMOND, Ind. — Two wins from last December and November were turned into forfeits after the athletic department discovered a Peregrine player was ineligible when he participated in the two PUC victories.

In accordance with NAIA bylaw (Article V, section C, item 3), PUC contacted Taylor University and IU Northwest informing them of the situation and allowing them to make the changes in their overall won/loss records.

As a result, the Peregrines record dropped to 1-19 overall. Their conference record remains 1-4.
