Bethel College turns Peregrine charity into season opening win

REC CENTER - Jay Harmas (North Central) stole the ball deep in Bethel’s end of the court with 1:25 to play. Harmas blew past the defense, got to half court, fired the ball to Steve Polak (Clark) who was sprinting towards the free throw line. Polak caught the ball and flipped it ahead on his left to Lawrence Sandlin (Bishop Noll) who slipped past his defender for a layup and cut the Bethel lead to 74-70 with 1:18 left. (more…)

Peregrines open 2006-07 season hosting Bethel College

HAMMOND, Ind. - Attendance figures should improve this season to watch four returning starters who all earned Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference post-season awards at the end of the 2005-06 campaign. But fans will also want to catch a glimpse of the seven new recruits that give the Peregrines its deepest and talented bench in more than a decade. (more…)
