STEP 2 – Complete the Financial Aid Process
Students who have completed the admissions process will automatically be considered for most institutional scholarships at Purdue University Calumet. For the best possible consideration of scholarships students must complete their admissions early as funds are limited.
Students are also encouraged to visit our scholarship search website (http://www.calumet.purdue.edu/scholarships) to learn about other scholarships which may require a separate application.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
For federal grants, state grants and loan considerations, complete the FAFSA form.

STEP 3 – Receive Our Offer of Acceptance
Once you’ve been accepted, the university will send you an acceptance letter explaining the enrollment process. The acceptance letter will include your academic advisor’s name and phone number (right-hand column).
STEP 4 – Meet with Your Academic Advisor
After making contact with your academic advisor (see step 3 above), you will need to attend New Student Orientation (NSO).
All first time students with no prior college experience must attend a new student orientation session where they will be connected to an academic program and introduced to techniques to help transition them into the first semester of college.

STEP 5 – Register for Classes
Depending on your program of study or major, you may register for classes during your academic advising appointment or referred to the Enrollment Services Center in Lawshe Hall, Room 130 to complete your registration.
Once you have registered for classes, you will receive a printed Statement of Classes. This statement will list the courses you selected and the estimated total amount due.
STEP 6 – Payment Options
Students have several convenient ways to make payment at Purdue University Calumet

- Option 1: Pay your tuition and fees in full using Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Webcheck
- Option 2: Establish a monthly tuition payment plan using FACTS/NBS*
- By Phone (credit card only) at 219-989-2301
- In Person (Lawshe Hall, Room 130)
- Option 1: Pay your tuition and fees in full using Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Webcheck
- Option 2: Establish a monthly tuition payment plan using FACTS/NBS*
- Option 3: Pay your tuition and fees in full with cash or a check
